Mend Chaffoteaux et Maury Combi Boiler Help

Hi, My Combi boiler is overheating due to sludge?

Am I right in thinking it can be fluished. If so is this a something a novice could do on an old Chaffoteaux et Maury????

Give it a go Paul, Sentinel X400 is 1 "sludge" remover. Personally if the damage is done it may pay to replace the boiler and have a decent installer give the system a good clean out. fitting a "magcleaner" will also prevent future problems. Seek good advice though....
