chaffoteaux et maury combi boiler?

my boiler works ok.But when ie i turn off the hot water tap ,the boiler makes a loud noise,it sounds like it is under pressure? so i always turn off the boiler.Hoping you can help Andy

take no notice of AL, I've had one for 10 years, and yes I've had a couple of breakdowns. but they easy to fix useing the insruction booklet it came with. sounds like your prob is the burner not switching off. check the change over valve is returning to off when tap is turned off, and the microswitch has been activated by the plunger in the change over valve.
