Mend Kirby G-6 Vacuum Repair Suction

how do i fix my Kirby G-6?

yesterday I was using my kirby and it starting smelling, then it sounded different, (not as loud), the vacuum light flickered and went out and it was not picking up anything. I left it on and turned it over to see the problem. The wheels, powerdrive, roller and belt seem to be working but no suction and it sounds very odd??

Either the carbon brushes on your motor need to be replaced or your fan is broken and needs to be replaced. Neither are DIY projects in my opinion.
