My Qualcast PowerTrak 3400 keeps cutting out. ?

My Qualcast PowerTrak 3400 keeps cutting out. It's as if the motor's overheating - it cuts out repeatedly, will restart for a while and then finally dies. Some time later it's OK again. Very frustrating. What's the answer?

Have you checked the wiring in the handle? Its possible to accidently pull the lead and almost lose the contact inside the handle making it cut out occasionally. Its easy to take apart, just a couple of screws, as easy as re wiring a plug.
