How do I fix my old Software SpecTrum laptop?

Every time I get on there is a eror measage then when I answer it ask's the date and time and when i answer that it goes back to the eror message.The lap top is a IBM ThinkPad Software SpecTrum.Window's 95.Type2635.

Sounds like it needs a new CMOS backup battery. You can download a Hardware Maintenance Manual from www.lenovo.com. It will show you how to replace the battery.

BTW I worked for IBM for over thirty years and never came across a 'Software Spectrum'. IBM's brand name for its laptops was ThinkPad.
