Mend Fiat Ducato 2.8 Motorhome

ref water supply tap on Fiat Ducato motorhome?

We have a Fiat Ducato 2.8 motorhome. Water was left in the tank overnight when the temperature dropped below freezing. We understand that a tap opens automatically when this happens to let the water out. Where is this tap? as water flows straight out again when we try to fill it! Help would be much appreciated.

These taps are fitted by the camper manufacturer so can be anywhere. What make and model is your van?
