Re Russell Hobbs Steamglide 2200. I want to fit a new flex (existing one has gone 'kinky' due to woven casing!) Removing the two torx screws in the heel does not release the cover. Are there other hidden screws (eg under the rating label), or is it a matter of springing the plastic in the right place?

I had a similar problem with a Tefal Supergliss 10 and managed to remove the heel using a screwdriver. I found a spot where the plastic gave way when pressed and gently pried it open. I don't know if this is the case with your iron, but it's worth trying.
