How do we fix our caravan fridge to go cold on Gas?

I have recently posed the very same question. However, having also just spoken to an engineer, he suggested that I should turn the fridge upside down for a few minutes.. turn back upright and let it rest - again for a few minutes and then try again!!!!

hi sarah, this sound's very unusual as the fridge work's off heat, whether it's electric,battery or gas. electric or battery element's heat up off it's power supply & working with the internal gases cool's the fridge/freezer, unless your pilot light is not heating the corret part that it need's to,this is theonly thing that could stop it from working.hope this has been some help. best of luck
