Craftsman Lawn Tractor blows 20amp fuze when HOT?

I have a craftsman lawn tractor model number 917.273180 with the koler 17.5 hp. the tractor is approximately 2yrs old. When the tractor gets hot It blows the 20 amp fuze. Replaced the fuze tractor works fine.The next time I start to cut the lawn it will blow the fuze again when hot. Will a defective ignition unit or alternator cause this bloblem?. I have checked all wiring and replaced the voltage regulator,still the same problem.

Yes, either one if defective can cause the fuse to blow. Double check your wire connections, more importantly your ground wires, you may find that a ground connection is vibrating and losing the ground
