Mend Sharp EX-A102 Switch Screen Work

how can i fix my EX-A102?

as soon as i switch it on it just bleeps at me continuously, or i get L0000000 on the screen. none of the buttons work, i dont have the instruction book, any ideas?

Hi.
The L on the display means you have flat batteries, so you will have corrupt memory. You will need to start again. It's easy to reset this model.

Lift the printer cover. Open the battery cover near the paper roll.
Remove the batteries.
Turn the key to REG mode.
Turn the power off at the wall.
Leave power off for 30 minutes.
Turn power on at wall.
Wait a few seconds for machine to come on.
Fit fresh batteries.
The L symbol should now disappear.
Don't forget to set the date and time.
See if this fixes your problem.
