Mend Kenmore 385-15516000 Reset Machine Started

reset timing for Kenmore model 385-15516000?

In the middle of a project my sewing machine started acting up making a funny loud noises and stopped stitching ...to remedy the situation i have cleaned and oiled the shuttle area and replaced the needle - now i cannot draw up the thread from the bobbin. Can you please tell me how to reset the timing on my kenmore model 385-15516000.
