SPEEDOMETER ON MY RENAULT MEGANE DOESN'T WORK?

Is speedo ABS driven?
Check the white loom of wire in battery comparment. most of time fault due to broken wire. ( i had same problem with my megane 2000 rt dti , fault was due to broken wire)

I have exactly the same problem. I have tried a new speed sensor, but that made no difference. My Haynes manual suggests a faulty voltage regulator, but I don't know where that is located or how to replace it. If you get any resolution to the problems, please let me know
