1493996512 is the model number of the engine.

On mine the model number is on the rear of the unit near the ground.

Get the model number and go to www.searspartsdirect.com where you can get the exploded parts view and a link to the owners manual. If your model number is 536.7735100 then delete the last '0' when searching for the manual. Mine has a set screw for adjusting the line up and down the shaft. Maybe you just lost that.
