how can i start my engine?

i have just changed the battery on my peugot 101 zest now nothing is happening not a bl**y thing

Peugeot Peugeot 101 Zest Vehicles, Cars Peugeot Battery Engine

first,remember to do activate the battery(add the correct acid level and charge the time and current specified).then connect the wires properly, check the fuse is on and finally, open the switch and start the engine.
