Mend Hygena APL8823 Dishwasher Fault Timer

Faulty Hygena APL8823 Dishwasher?

My dishwasher seems to be doing everything at the same time; wash, rinse, heat etc;- sparkling dishes but the timer is not going around and it would happily run all day. Is this a timer fault or is there something else I need to look at?
