Mend Ideal Isar HE24 He24 Water

how can i fix my ideal isar he24 condencing combi boiler?

the boiler fires up every 5 minutes to preheat the water in the domestic hot water heat exchanger.The manual says it occasionally comes on.Can I disable this.

Ideal Ideal Isar HE24 Heating, Home Heating Systems Ideal He24 Water

no you can't disable it. if it comes on every 5 minutes you must have a leak on you hot water pipes or a dripping hot tap. Ideal do a kit to fit in place of the hot water thermistor, which is a flow switch, which will stop this pre-heat
