Mend Zanussi WJS1397 Washing Machine Bearing Replacement

Zannusi WJS1397 Bearing seal?

I replaced the bearings and the drum 12 months ago and they need replacing again. I think the seal may have been positioned incorrectly. Is there a specific position for the bearing seal to be fitted in? Is it flush with recess or right up to the bearing? Any advice is appreciated; many thanks

wear on the drum shaft causes premature failure of the bearing seal and leads to failure of the bearings as water gets in to them.Did you put grease into the bearing seal lip???.fit seal just below tub face and pack with grease
