Installing snapper belt?

Does anyone know how to install a snapper belt on an old snapper riding mower?

Some of the old snappers I moved took the clutch loose and then slipped the belt on easy enough I have put on a lot of them they are not easy also move the clutch maybe back and forth by shifting it also helps to have the engine in neutral.

I got my old one off, but it took some doing. The problem is that I had to lift the shift guide away so it would slip off the rear pulley.
I decided it would be much cheaper to have it done. Next time I'll watch the repairman do it..... Good luck!
