How do I fix a Symphonic TV/VCR combo that eats tapes?
I have a Symphonic TV/VCR combo model # TVCR 19G1 that eats tapes. We'll put a tape in, and it shuts off (after 2 seconds or so). When I take the tape out (with some help of a screwdriver), the tape is partially out. This happens with all tapes, every time. How do I fix this problem? Thanks.
I had the same problem and took it to a reapair shop, they said the carriage was bent. the repairguy bent it back in place and it worked fine for a while until the kids kept shoving tapes in it and same thing happened again at first i could adjust it myself but with time it just starting eating all tapes again. decided to get kids a DVD.
