My kenmore 70 series model 110 82873820 continues to drip water into the tub even when the water is turned off and the machine is unplugged!

Hello,

It sounds like you have a bad water supply valve. Sediment inside the valve will keep it from closing all the way and therefore cause a dripping even when the power to the washer is off. I bet it's the cold water side?
