how can i open drivers side bonnet catch?

You must get somebody to help you by pushing the bonnet down and then up rapidly and with some pressure while you pull the release catch from inside the car. This normally works. When open use WD40 to lubricate all the levers and catches under the bonnet and make sure they work before closing the bonnet again. You must keep the levers and catches well lubricated.
