you've mentioned nothing about system type but....
stop being silly and get someone to look at it!!! if its your hot water cylinder then you may have 200 litres of 60-70 degree water waiting to escape in one go. You may just have a leak from a connecting pipe but f*ckin hell, safety first always!!!!!!!!!!!
