Mend Briggs & Stratton 375 Sprint Engine Running

Briggs & S 375 sprint engine - leaner mix needed?

My Briggs and startton engine is running too rich.

Its revs oscillate wildly in operation and it only runs properly when it is running out of fuel, and then only for 5 - 10 seconds

The spark plug gets very black with carbon soot and needs cleaning

Can anyone help ?

screen between fuel tank and carb is dirty take carb off clean screen should be cool then

Replace the carb diaphragm. Almost guaranteed fix.
