Mend Toro Mower Started Mowing

MY STEERING WENT OUT ON MY TORO RIDING MOWER?

I STARTED MOWING YESTERDAY, COULD ONLY TURN RIGHT , NOW YU CAN JUST SPIN THE STEERING WHEEL...ITS LIKE ITS NOT CONNECTED...WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM

At the bottom of the steering column you will find a gear mechanism that connects to the steering rods. My guess is that the bolt holding the column in place (below the cutter deck) has come loose and the steering is disengaged. Often you can tell this if you can physically lift the steering wheel upwards.
