how to fix promblem?

van in neutral,remove the spade lead connector from the starter motor.temp connect a flying lead to the starter solonoid spade connection then touch the other end of lead to the battery + it should click then spin.if so, remove cowling round ig switch and find the base of the key/barrel assembly wher u will usually find housing connected to key /barrel assembly with multiple wires running to a multiplug if no loose wires a visible.replace above unit.double check by removing base assembly from ig/barrel and trying to turn the assembly switch without key.just like in the movies when they steal cars.
