Mend Zanussi WJD1257W Washer Replaced Door

How can I fix my Zanussi Washer Dryer WJD1257W?

I have replaced the door catch with a new one but whilst all the correct lights come on nothing happens and the start/stop light just flashes. Any ideas what I might have done wrong. The machine worked OK before the door catch broke.

when you say CATCH do you mean the striker pin that goes into the hole in the cabinet.if so have you fitted if the right way round
