Mend Renault Espace 16v Plate

Renault Espace 2.0 16v 52 plate - Rear tailgate problem?

I have a 52 plate Renault Espace with a rear tailgate that will no longer stay open on it's own. Any idea what I need in terms of parts to repair and likely costs?

u need to replace both gas struts [the black and chrome bits that join from tailgate to body when open ,about 450mm long) 10 min job remember to prop up tailgate when changing them or u get crushed.bit of wood does it.
