renault clio gearbox 2002?

i have a problem with my wifes gear box its a 2002 51 plate 1.2 16v dymanic i pulled out of a junction it felt like it jumped out of gear now it wont move it still selects all gears still have a clutch pedal but wont move 1st and 2nd nothing at all 3rd 4th and 5th grinding noise gets louder the higher the gear any help would be much appriciated

Do check for driveshaft problems here....if one is faulty - i.e the cv joint on the end has packed up - you'll get exactly these symptoms.
