Mend Cd Player Eject

How do I fix my 2004 VW Touran CD player?

I've got a 2004 Touran with single CD player and it won't eject my CD's. I've put two different ones in but they only last a day or so before they get the same no eject fault. The CD's still play and the radio is fine, it just won't eject. Any ideas if/how I can fix this?

Chances are there are 2 cd's in the player, look on youtube to fund out how to remove the facia surround fron the sterio then unscrew the 4 retaining bolts withdraw the cd player, dont unplug anything though then break the paper seal at the rear of the metal lid and pop that off, then press eject and help the cd out with the blade of a screwdriver if there are 2 cd's in the machine one will eject there will be a pause then the other cd will begin initialisation, press eject again and this one should come out by itself

If it won't eject the CD, How have you managed to try two different CDs? My 2005 Touran has just developed the same problem and I can't get the chuffing CD out !

Any help appreciated
