Volkswagen sharan carat 1.9 2001 diesl?

I have a volkswagen Sharan carat 1.9 Dti 2001 diesel 7 seater right hand drive.I have been told my YAW RATE SENCER needs replacing.
I have a volkswagen Sharan carat 1.9 Dti 2001 diesel 7 seater right hand drive. I have been told my YAW RATE SENCER needs replacing. Can anybody out there tell me where it is on the car as i have been told its under the drivers seat and its not,then i was told its under the passenger seat and its not,then i was told its on the steering column but i can not find it there.Then i was told its on the engine. I would be very grateful for any help on this matter more so if anybody has a link that i could goto as i have looked on the net and i have looked on youtub but can not find anything . Many thanks.
