Mend HP 3210 Printer Cartridges Printing

Hp 3210 will not print in black?

My HP 3210 will not print in black. I have installed new cartridges, but it just produces blank sheets of paper. It prints OK in colour though.

As my printer was over 2 years old and I had resigned myself to buying a new one I tried removing the black cartridge and putting 100 psi directly from an air compressor down the ink flow and vent tubes. They both went pop and the black printing got gradually better until it returned to normal. TIP - Put some newspaper behind the printer when you do this.

I had exactly the same problem. Complained and got a new printer from Hp - in fact I've now had 4 HP3210 replacements for various reasons - not their best model!
