Mondeo high revs when driving or stationary Ford Mondeo 2.0si P reg?
My mondeo high revs when driving and when stationary sometimes. Does not do all time but when it does if you touch accelorator slightly doesnt help just increases revs even more almost as if choke cutting in when not needed. Any ideas please?
I haver the same problem i just had my alternator replaced , and after driving for a short while when i come to a halt the rev counter shoots to 2500 rpm and then comes down to normal when standing

i have the exact same problem my car is going nuts tho!! i cant understand the problem and can u also hear a slight hissing noise to?..its driving me crazy!! please any answers would be greatly appreiciated!

I've got the same with my Ford Focus 1.4 02 reg. Changed speed sensor, throttle position sensor and idle control valve and still no joy. Did the vacuum hose advice work?

just under the ignition coil is a "T"shaped vacume hose,they are common for spliting
