Mend Zanussi Aquacycle 1000 Drum

How can I fix zanussi aquacycle 1000?

The belt is in tact but the drum will not spin properly. It turns a little bit but it then stops.
I have been advised that it may be the bushes but dont know how to locate and fix them.
We dont have the manual.

the brushes are in each side of the motor they are black or white plastic blocks with one wire to them
