Mend BT BT4500 Bt Handset Work

Will any other BT Cordless Handset work with BT4500 Base?

I have a Set of BT4500 Handsets(2) and a Base and answer Machine and one of my Handsets has gone wrong Can I use any Cordless BT Handset or does it have to be another 4500 ?. Because i cannot afford the £40.00 for a new handset?. Thanks

DECT is an International Standard and so any DECT phone should work with any DECT base Station. I suggest you buy a cheap complete DECT phone from Tescos and register the handset with your Base Station rather than its own.
