How to install belt on Maytag washer Model #SAV2655Aww?

How do I get the belt on the drive assembly without dismantling the driveshaft.

have the same problem with # SAV205DAW, I think the whole motor will need to be removed what a bad design

JP is wrong on this one. I have the same problem. Bottom is solid. After taking off lower front panel by removing two screws, motor/belt area is exposed. But belt can only be put on pully under tub. Pulley under motor has water pump mounted below it. Must take water pump off????

You should be able to tilt the washer back and access it from under the machine.
