how do i change glow plugs?

I take it u know where they are? Undo the cables & I think it is an 8mm socket,mabye 10mm,but it is small,I would try soaking them in wd40 or similar cos they can be hard to get out.As a last thought tho' a battery on its way out (even if it appears in good nick will give the same symptoms as dud glow plugs)
