Mend Hotpoint AQ series Whats Wrong

whats wrong with it hotpoint aquaris?

this morning my washing machine went funny .it still has water in it and clothes .i cannot get it to pump the water out when i do get it going it will sound like its filling up and then the lights come on on crease free and extra rinse .then thats it ,tried to put it on rinse ect just makes a noise as if it cant turn it round .

Hi, It seems to be avery common problem with aquarius machines,
tip the machine on its side and disconnect the pump, (remove water pipes and then little connection) you'll need allen keys and set of philips screwdrivers also

disassemblwe the pump if you're brave enough and clean it and check it for obstructions/blockages (found it quite easy)

then reconnect it up to machine and away you go...worked forme-machine running like new
