Mend Zanussi Noise Green

tumble drier will not start?

When I try and start my Zanussi tumble drier it does not work. I see the correct green light on and I can hear a "straining noise" as is struggles to start but to no avail. Any ideas would be appreciated.

A new capacitor (cylindrical the size of a mars bar) fixed it.
