help need answers?

my signal on my matsui dtr2 keeps cutting out and the reset button does not revive it this has been going on since november an now my tv cuts out in tandem with the box i have a theory but would welcome any feedbacks fro all the sharp minds out there many thanks

It depends on what you mean by cutting out. As it is, from your description it could be anything. Budget boxes are not with repairing so I'd bin it a buy a new one.
