how do you turn the engine management light off on an agila?

how do you turn the engine management light off on an agila, does anyone know what the problem could be it will not go faster than 55 mph.

Hi john, from your description the engine ecu has gone into limp home mode thats why its slow, the only way is to connect the car to a diagnostic code reader and find the fault, fix it then erase the ecu's memory and that will extinguish the management light
