how do i turn off the engine management light?

how do i turn off the engine management light on the vauxhall astra 1.6 16v 51plate? the problem has been sorted, but the light keeps turning back on.

Hi Jamie, if the light keeps comming on there is still a fault in the system and the light can only be turned off with a diagnostic code reader
