My Corsa 1.4 16v ecotec will turn over, fire up but wont go?

Hi guys i have a 97 vauxhall corsa 1.4, im having a problem getting it goin, it will turn over and fire up but then dies straight away, i started this morning no problems wat so ever, then went bk to it couple hours later then does not wanna know, the engine management light flashes constantly aswell,can u help???

its your crank shaft sensor mine did it on the same car

It's your immobiliser.
Have you dropped your keys recently? You may have damaged or displaced the immo chip inside the key. Open it up to check, do a google image search for vauxhall key chip to see where it should go.
Try starting it with the spare.
