Mend Indesit W123 Washing Machine Pump Repair

How do i fix it?

Indesit W123 washer. Sticks in programme sometimes 2 sometimes at 4 just continues to wash but wont pump out.
First time left off for ages - emptied it out started again at begining. Now switch knob just rotated around the dial continually and machine gos on turning. I have emptied thje water away. It seems not to sart pumping out the water.

Any idea what is wrong needs changing?

Sounds like there is something stuck in the pump - happened to mine it was an elastic band wrapped around the propeller. If you are confident - need to remove back of washing machine to get to pump and remove blockage - turning power off obviously. If not will need to call in engineer. Good luck
