Mend Bosch CSB550RE Drill Motor

Repair or replace?

One of the commutator segments in my Bosch CSB550RE hammer drill (several years old, so well out of guarantee) has become partially detached which has broken the circuit so the drill no longer works. Is it worth looking at a repair (new commutator or motor) or should I simply buy another drill? If the latter, what makes are recommended?
