As you'll gather from what follows, im not an electrician so dont place too much reliance on every detail, but.....
We had this problem. You need access to the top of the oven. On ours there are two top plates that remove by fairly obvious screws. Underneath at the back is a cyclinder fan. The right hand spindle of the fan (as you look at it from the front) rotates inside a rubber housing (looked a bit like a large orange rubber button on ours). There are no bearings or anything and it was the vibration of this that was causing the noise. I gently prised off the rubber housing, cleaned it out with a cotton bud and put a bit of grease inside the hole where the spindle goes before replacing. Ours has been quiet now for 3 weeks. If, like me, you want to enhance your leaping and shouting skills, leave the power supply on whilst you lift the spindle. Its live, I suppose the rubber was a clue.
