Mend Combi Heating Pressure

High pressure in combi boiler?

I've got an oil fired combi boiler and the presure seems too high at the mo, just over 2 bars and the water isn't geting very hot, is this related ?? and how do I lower the pressure, I know how to increase it with the valve but not lower it. Help please, thank you
