Mend Opel Kadett Water Vauxhall Astra

how to remove a water pump from a 1984 1994 opel kadett (vauxhall astra)?

I need to take off the old water pump of my opel kadett, I have removed timing belt and gears also three retaining screws that seem to hold water pump in position however it will not budge.............can some one please tell what to do?

get a spanner on the nut shaped bit behind the pulley and twist the pump clockwise to free it
