how can i fix the door handle of my vw golf 2004?

open the door,look down the side of the door you will see a small round plastic plug,the size of 1p.pop it out with a screwdriver.look inside you will see a brass screw with an allen head,unscrew anticlockwise this will release the barrell beside the handle on the outside,(dont overloosen) do it a bit at a time,should take a few turns to release it.when the barrell is out you can see the cable it simply pops back into the door handle.it can only go one way.replace barrell and tighten screw. JOB DONE. about ten mins
