when the hot tap is switched on the water heates up for about ten seconds, then the flame will go out, the water will go cold and there is a strong smell of gas. what could this be? and how easy is this to recify the problem?the combi has been out of use for about 8 months.
i have the same problem but no smell of gas though it heats up then off it goes again takes ages to fill a bath

as I say to anyone here, if you get a smell of gas, dont f**k around, get a professional out, I will not help someone in this type of matter as you have no way of testing for any type of gas leak.
