The fuel mix is 50:1. Having said that you may find many problems with it (which is why it was on the tip)

Hey Phil
I share your concern about mixing fuel for 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines. Does using a 50.1 mix in the 4 stroke engine cause any problems? If not it looks a good solution to my fuel storage and usage issue?

It's only a 50:1 mix you should use if you are using a 50:1 dilution ratio oil. No good mixing it at 50:1 if you are using a cheap mineral based 25:1 ratio oil. All decent oil manufacturers will give you the dilution ratio of their oil printed on the bottle, and this is the only ratio it should be diluted to, to ensure that particular oil is not over or under diluted to give the best protection.

Fuel mix will be 50:1 using proper 2 stroke oil (NOT standard car type engine oil). This is pretty universal - in fact I run everything - 4 strokes included - on this, that way you will never put neat fuel in your 2-stroke and wreck it.
